The Junipers is a charming cottage on the edge of the Highland village of Tomatin (pub/restaurant, distillery, shop) which is about two miles off the A9 road 14 miles north of Aviemore and the Cairngorm Mountains Conservation/Ski-area, and 16 miles south of Inverness 'Capital of the Highlands'. Especially and interestingly designed for two people, it is semi-detached (from the owners' conservatory) with a small patio and garden area (furniture, barbecue) that catches the sun most of the day; there are extensive views across open country to the rear and and it is just 200 yards from the River Findhorn where fishing can be arranged.
Extremely well furnished and equipped, it makes a cosy and comfortable 'home from home' for any season of the year, and those who enjoy the spectacular Highland scenery and wildlife (deer, wild goats and birds of prey can be seen further up Strathdearn) who like to walk, tour, fish, ski in Season, will really appreciate this excellent house that also has all the amenities of Inverness just a half-hour drive away.
Heating is by background gas central-heating (INCLUDED), and log burning stove (logs INCLUDED). Electricity, bed-linen and towels are INCLUDED. One small pet may be accepted by arrangement. No smoking is allowed within the house.
