Glentairie Cottage is a simply-furnished family cottage with a wonderful location deep in the Grampian Hills on the Glen Prosen 6,000-acre Country Estate about one mile from the hamlet of Glen Prosen 30 miles north of Dundee.

It stands high with sweeping views of the hills, on its own at the very end of a rough track which can be driven with care. This is a cottage for those who truly want their privacy and to be 'away from it all' for here, on the Estate, you will stay in peaceful seclusion in a varied landscape of high heather-covered hills and mountain streams - with moorlands, pine and birchwoods allowing wild birds and flowers to flourish, and deer and other fauna to hide away in those same secret places used as a sanctuary by William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and other patriots many centuries ago. Once there you may never want to move.

Heating is by open-fire and electricity.  Bed-linen is INCLUDED and towels are available for hire.  One dog is welcome but must be kept on a lead within Glen Prosen Estate.
