***Introductory Comments***

Welcome to the April issue of Uniquely Unspoilt.

Many of Scotland's attractions will now be re-opening after Easter, and everything will soon be gearing up for another busy summer.

This issue's main feature looks at an unusual and increasingly popular addition to Scotland's tourist attractions - Rosslyn Chapel near Edinburgh - which features prominently in best selling novel and forthcoming film The Da Vinci Code.

Our guest article concerns Perth Festival of the Arts which takes place from 19th - 29th May and offers a stunning world-class programme featuring an impressive line up of well known names as well as up and coming artists.

Please feel free to send in any comments as ever.

"This building, I believe, may be pronounced unique, and I am confident it will be found curious, elaborate and singularly interesting, impossible to designate by any given or familiar term." ***Guest Article***

Our guest article this month has been written by Sandra Ralston of the Perth Festival of the Arts.

The event is now in its 34th year and is presenting its most ambitious programme to date with artists ranging from Dame Kiri Te Kanawa to Teenage Fanclub and Paul Merton.

Building on the success of the 2004 Festival, which included artists such as Lesley Garrett and The Stranglers, organisers are offering a programme which they hope will offer something for everyone.
